How to get to Nancy?

There are several ways to get to Nancy. The main routes to Nancy are :

From Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport to Nancy-Ville:
Option 1: Train direct from the airport to Lorraine-TGV, where you will use the shuttle bus to transfer to Nancy-Ville.
Option 2: Hop on the RER B (Paris metro train) to Gare du Nord. Transfer to the Gare de l’Est (5 minutes on foot), then direct train to Nancy-Ville.

Please note that in France all train tickets must be bought in advance and access to TGV trains is restricted to ticket-holders. Tickets are available to buy around 3 months before travel at the following site: https://www.sncf-connect.com/en-en/ It is advisable to book a train 3-4 hours after your flight lands in case of delay.

Option 3 : by bus (For example Flixbus)

Option 4 : by car (But parking fees are expensive)

Coming by train

Nancy’s train station is in the center of town. Trains from Paris (Gare de l’Est) take around 1h30 with the high-speed train (TGV). Trains from Luxembourg or Strasbourg take around 1h20. You can also arrive at the Lorraine TGV station, which is close to the Lorraine airport (37 km from Nancy): a shuttle bus will take you to downtown Nancy in around 40 minutes. Please note that TGV reservations are required. From this station, you can reach Bordeaux in 4h30 or Lille in 2h30 without changing trains in Paris.
